Stelara 130mg Injection is a source of the active ingredient Ustekinumab. This monoclonal antigen is part of the class of medicines known as interleukin inhibitors. Monoclonal antibodies are proteins that recognize and bind to specific proteins within the body. They treat moderate to extreme plaque psoriasis (a skin disease that manifests as the appearance of scaly and red patches on particular body parts). It can be used by itself or in conjunction with other medications to combat an active case of arthritis (that results in joint swelling, pain, and scaling on the skin) in adults.
Stelara 130mg Injection is recommended to treat severe to moderate Crohn’s disease and ulcerative bowel colitis in adults. These are both inflammatory bowel disorders. It is the complication in which the body fights the digestive tract’s lining, which causes abdominal discomfort, weight loss, diarrhea, and fever. Ulcerative Colitis is an illness that causes sores and swelling within the lining of the colon (large intestine) and the rectum. It is not recommended to take this medication if you are breastfeeding or pregnant.
Take care not to take Stelara 130 mg Injection if you are sensitive to Ustekinumab or any other ingredient of this medication. Don’t take this medication if you are suffering from any active illnesses. Inform your doctor if you have recently suffered from tuberculosis or skin disorders such as allergies or diseases. Inform your doctor if you use other treatment options for psoriasis or arthritis. This medication is not recommended for children who are less than 18 years old with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative Colitis.
