TOFASTAR TABLET

Tofastar tablet is a source of the active ingredient Tofacitinib. It is a disease-modifying anti-rheumatoid medication (DMARD) which belongs to the class of immunomodulators. It can be used by itself or in combination with other drugs to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis (A condition where the body attacks joints, which causes pain, swelling and loss of functionality) for people who cannot take or respond to other drugs. It can also be utilized to manage psoriatic arthritis (A condition which causes joint pain, swelling and scales in the face). It is also recommended to treat adult patients suffering from moderately or severely active ulcerative colitis.
Other uses for Tofastar tablets are ankylosing spondylitis (inflammatory spinal disease). It can also be utilized to treat active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis. An ongoing condition that is most often responsible for swelling and pain in joints for patients who are who are two years old or older. The medication works by reducing the function of the body’s immune system. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from a severe tuberculosis infection, active blood infections or liver issues. Be sure to inform your doctor if you ever had or are suffering from a chronic hepatitis B infection, as this medication may trigger the virus B to reactivate.
Do not consume a Tofastar tablet if you’re allergic to tofacitinib or any other ingredient in this medication. Contact your doctor for any signs of illness, including chills, sweating, fever, muscle aches and coughs, breathlessness or skin sores, weight loss, pain or difficulty swallowing, diarrhoea, and stomach discomfort. Before beginning treatment, tell your doctor whether you suffer from heart, kidney or liver issues or have a history of tuberculosis, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. Also, inform your doctor if you are a current or former smoker.
