Toritz T500mg injection is made up of the active component of rituximab. It is prescribed for various diseases in adults. It can be used by itself or with other medications to treat non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (cancer that affects B-lymphocytes or white blood cells) and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (a type of cancer affecting B-cells). It can also treat moderate-to-severe arthritis (a kind of illness in which the immune system targets the cells in the body of its joints) together with methotrexate for adults. Other uses include granulomatosis polyangiitis and microscopic polyangiitis (inflammation of blood vessels primarily affecting the lungs and kidneys) for children and adults aged two years or older. It can also treat moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris (an auto-immune condition that can cause painful burns on the skin and the lining of the mouth, nasal, throat and genitals.
Toritz T 500mg injection is part of the class of drugs known as monoclonal antibodies against CD20. Don’t take this medication if you are sensitive to rituximab or other components of this medication or if you are immune-compromised or are suffering from any active severe disease. Inform your doctor if you suffer from heart disease, failure, or breathing difficulties before starting the treatment. Consult your physician if you’ve ever suffered a hepatitis B infection since the infection can recur in some cases and is sometimes severe. The use of breastfeeding and pregnant women is not advised when receiving this treatment.
Expected adverse consequences of Toritz T 500mg injections include blood clots and red blood cells, a decrease in the number of dizziness, swelling of the body and face as well as itchy skin, vomiting, more sweating and high or low blood pressure. Utilize effective contraceptives during treatment as well as 12 months after the last dose if you can become pregnant.
