Trivisco 60 mg injection has an active ingredient known as Sodium Hyaluronate. This ingredient is part of the class of drugs known as intra-articular agents. It’s similar to the nature-based fluids that cushion joints. It helps to lubricate and protect joints by acting as a shock absorber. The medicine helps relieve knee pain in osteoarthritis (OA) patients. It is typically prescribed to patients who haven’t been able to respond well to other medications for arthritis.
Do not take Trivisco 60 mg injection if you are allergic to Sodium Hyaluronate or any of its components. Don’t use this medicine in the event of an injury to your knee or the knee’s skin. Before taking the medication, inform your doctor of an incident of blood clots or circulatory problems in the legs or if you are allergic to feathers, birds or egg-related products. Consult your physician for any pre-existing Chondrocalcinosis (cartilage progressing to calcification). This medication is not recommended for children aged 21 and under because its safety and efficacy have not been established.
Before you begin taking Trivisco 60mg injection , tell your physician if you are pregnant, are planning to become pregnant, or suspect that you are breastfeeding or pregnant. Inform your doctor if you are a victim of any illness. Common adverse effects of this medicine are redness, pain or stiffness, bruising or puffiness around the site of injection, nausea, stomach pain, trouble getting around, lower back pain, joint pain, muscle pain, the sensation of tingling or numbness, headache, dizziness, headache, and nasal congestion or runny nose.
