Those with allergic reactions or hypersensitivity should not use this medicine in the presence of Unicalcin, the nasal spray, or its constituents. Allergies can manifest as itching, skin rash, inflammation, or difficulty breathing. The medication is intended to reduce blood calcium levels; therefore, it is not recommended for those with low calcium levels (hypocalcemia). Patients with impaired kidney function might require dosage adjustments because the kidneys process the medication. Close monitoring is necessary to ensure that there is no accumulation of the drug.
