Valcivir, 1000mg tablets, contains Valacyclovir as its active component. This is an antiviral drug that fights against Herpes Simplex Varicella Zoster as well as Cytomegalovirus. Herpes virus is linked to developing a cold sore, which creates painful mouth ulcers. Shingles-related infections can cause blisters on the skin. Cytomegalovirus infections cause flu-like symptoms, rashes on the skin, and swelling of lymph glands.
Do not consume the Valcivir 1000mg tablet if you are allergic to Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, or the other components. Before beginning the treatment, tell your doctor if you suffer from a kidney or liver condition, as dosage adjustments are required.
