VALNICHE 450MG TABLET

Valniche  450 mg tablets are an Antiviral with an active ingredient known as Valganciclovir. It is part of the class called Antiviral (Non-HIV) medications. Valganciclovir transforms into Ganciclovir once it enters the body. It works to combat viral infections. This drug can be used for treating Cytomegalovirus (CMV) diseases that affect the eye’s retina in people who suffer from Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Cytomegalovirus can lead to vision issues and blindness. In addition, it can prevent cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in children and adults who have received organ transplants from someone infected with CMV.
Don’t take this medicine if you are allergic to Valganciclovir Ganciclovir or its components. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from decreased blood cell numbers ( WBC, RBC, Platelet). Inform your physician if you received any radiotherapy or hemodialysis (a treatment that removes the wastes and fluids out of the blood) or have a problem that affects your kidney. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Make sure you are using effective contraception during and after treatment. Women should use contraceptives for 30 days, while men are advised to use condoms for 90 days following the treatment. Consult your physician for any fertility concerns. The dosage adjustment of Valniche 450 mg tablets will be offered if you suffer from kidney problems. Your physician may periodically take the blood test to check the blood count while you are taking this tablet.
