₹3,182.00₹5,398.85 (-41%)
Xmab 100mg injection is rituximab. It is used to treat several diseases in adults. It can be used with or without other medications to treat non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer that affects white blood cells known as B-lymphocytes. In adults, it is indicated for treating moderate to severe rheumatoid (a disease in which the immune system attacks its body cells called leukapheresis) when combined with methotrexate. Also, granulomatosis polyangiitis and microscopic polyangiitis are used to treat inflammation of blood vessels in the lungs and kidneys of adults and children older than two years. It can also treat mild to moderate pemphigus (an autoimmune disease that causes painful blisters on the skin, lining, and nose of the mouth and throat).
Xmab 100mg injection belongs to a class of drugs called monoclonal anti-CD20 antibodies. This injection should not be taken if you have an allergy to rituximab, its ingredients, or a weak immune response. Before starting the treatment, tell your doctor if you suffer from heart disease, heart failure or breathing issues. Speak to your doctor if you’ve ever had hepatitis B. The infection can reactivate in some cases, and it can sometimes be very severe. This injection is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Xmab 100mg injection can cause several side effects, including infection of the blood, reduced red blood cell count, dizziness, and swelling of the face and the body. Other common side effects include diarrhoea, itchy or dry skin, low blood pressure, and increased sweating. If you are pregnant, use effective contraception during treatment and for 12 months following the last dose. This medication may cause severe infusion reactions during or within 24 hours after administration. Infusion reactions such as chest pain, headaches, breathing problems, vomiting, skin irritations, or swelling of the throat or skin should be reported to your doctor or healthcare professional.
